Oktoberfest
Located in downtown Fredericksburg, Oktoberfest is the largest festival of the year and includes live entertainment, an artisan marketplace, a kid’s park with games and other activities, food, and of course, lots of beer. There’s also the annual Kraut Run (or walk) which is both dog-friendly and stroller-friendly! Wearing Oktoberfest costumes or attire is strongly encouraged, and the top 3 outfits get ultimate bragging rights on social media!
Orchards, Pumpkins & Farms
Vogel Orchard– On weekends in the fall, this peach orchard sells pumpkins and specialty gourds, along with a great selection of seasonal treats, like preserves, jellies, pies, and cobblers!
Wildseed Farms– During the fall season, you can buy pumpkins and gourds at the farm, as well as participate in seasonal events such as their Fall Festival, Monarch Celebration, and Fall Planting Days!
Jenschke Orchards– Another local orchard known for its peaches, you can go in the fall to their pick-your-own pumpkin patch and arguably the best corn maze in Texas! The whole family will enjoy the many activities, from corn hole and wagon rides to a corn pile and a Texas-sized jump pillow!

Texas Mesquite Arts Festival– the best Mesquite wood artisans from all over come to Fredericksburg to showcase their collections, from large furniture pieces to smaller gift items. You can also find handmade works of art in other mediums, such as leather, metal, glass, gourds, and canvas.
Fredericksburg Trade Days– On the 3rd Saturday of each month, Sunday Farms becomes a sprawling marketplace of the finest products made in the area for the entire weekend. There’s something for everyone, so be sure to add this trade show to your vacation plans when you’re in town!
Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival– Experience Texas Wine Country like never before at this annual food and wine fest! Over 20 culinary options and nearly 50 local wines, spirits, beers, and ciders are available, as well as chef demos, grand tastings, and so much more!
Fredericksburg Classic Car & Truck Show– The Pecan Grove Store hosts local events in Fredericksburg TX, including live music and car shows! This car and truck show is free to the public with a donation of 3 cans of food or a cash donation for the local food bank.
