For the last 30+ years they’ve been growing the most beautiful wildflowers you’ll ever see at Wildseed Farms. There is no admission charge to visit, and they are the nation’s largest working wildflower farm. It’s open 7 days a week with walking trails throughout. It’s completely worth your time to visit.
We probably need to say less here, but wow do we love our town. We literally have everything you could want in one location! Main Street is home to the best shopping and dining opportunities in Fredericksburg.
Years of history and music all the time can be found at Luckenbach Music Venue. They can tell you the story, but everyone should stop and see this mecca of music!
The third Saturday of every month in Fredericksburg is Fredericksburg Trade Days. Famously quoted as, “If you can’t find it at Trade Days, you don’t need it!” A biergarten with live music, seven barns with acres of everything you can imagine available is right in our backyard.

Formerly an old railroad that provided cargo transport to San Antonio, it is now home to an estimated 3 million bats. People come from all over the state to watch them fly out of the tunnel at dusk.
American Bison and Longhorns roam these grounds, and you can learn about the lives of Lyndon B. & Lady Bird Johnson, see what it was like to grow up as a Texas-German farmer, enjoy trails along the creeks, play at the park’s amenities, and more.

This is one of the most visited state parks in Texas, and the massive pink granite dome can be seen from miles away when approaching. The legends and scenery along the trails will keep you coming back for more. This park offers opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, and more.
