1. Visit the Local Vineyards
The Texas Hill Country is known for a few different things, including being one of the most prominent wine producing regions in the United States. As you can guess, that means that there are a ton of vineyards in the area. At these incredible locations, you can walk around to check out the outdoor vines where the magic begins. You can also visit the wineries nearby to sample all sorts of homemade wines! Two of the best vineyards in Fredericksburg are Alexander Vineyards and Barons Creek Vineyards, which are both within 10 minutes of our resort.
2. Stroll Down Main Street
One of the best outdoor activities in Fredericksburg TX encompasses the overall spirit of the town. On Main Street, you will find everything you need in one terrific spot in the heart of town. Main Street is home to the best shopping and dining opportunities in all of Fredericksburg. If you are looking for the perfect souvenir or you want to hang out at one of the local breweries, there is something for everyone on the main strip. Plus, you can walk all the way up and down the street to enjoy the comfortable temperatures of the Texas Hill Country.
3. Hang Out by the Pool
You can enjoy the gorgeous scenery of Fredericksburg without even leaving our resort! We have an amazing multi-million-dollar swimming pool that is the perfect place to hang out in the summer with your family and friends. If you are vacationing with kids, they will love the added bonus of the shallow end pool with a splash pad! 4. Explore a State Park
Did you know that our resort is located near multiple Texas state parks where you can go to enjoy all sorts of amazing outdoor adventures? At Enchanted Rock State Park, your group has all sorts of sightseeing options, including hiking trails, rock climbing, biking trails, and much more. One of the most unique things to do in the area is watching the estimated 3 million bats fly out into the dusk sky at the Old Tunnel State Park. There used to be a railroad at the site, so the bats flocked to the area where they were able to live in the train cars. To this day, they fly out of the tunnel in search of food when the sun starts to set.
